The Story of Ember Within
A soul remembered. A life reclaimed. A lifetime of becoming.
Ember Within began after a life-changing event that started years of awakening, healing, and growth. My work has had different names and forms over time, each matching a chapter of my journey. As I changed, those names no longer fit. Ember Within is the first name that feels wide enough to hold who I am now and who I’m still becoming.
The Moment That Changed My Life - In its briefest version!
Ember Within truly began when I was twenty-six. My life was in a dark place, and it became the death of me. Then I experienced what I can only call a spiritual intervention: an energy filled me and moved through me. Everything shifted immediately. My old life ended, and something inside me came alive.
Although my direction changed in that single moment, understanding what happened—and becoming the person I had returned to be—has taken me on a journey over the past twenty-five years.
Ember Within was born from this experience.
The Light That Remains
The ember is the soul’s spark—small but alive even in darkness. Sometimes bright, sometimes dim beneath grief, trauma, exhaustion or duty, it may seem gone. Yet even a tiny ember holds warmth and possibility. With care it can glow again, rekindle into a stronger flame, guide a new path or transform us—like a phoenix. The ember remembers what we forget.
Tending Your Ember
For some, tending the ember means resting and learning to feel safe within themselves again.
For others, it may mean healing old wounds, reconnecting with the body, reclaiming lost parts of themselves or listening more deeply to their spiritual knowing.
Sometimes the ember needs shelter and gentleness.
Sometimes it needs breath, movement, sound or creative expression.
Sometimes it is ready to become a flame—to illuminate a new path and reveal the person waiting to emerge.
Ember Within is a place where you can meet yourself wherever you are within that process.
You may not be returning to who you once were but more the discovery of who you are becoming.
A Letter to You
If you have found your way here, perhaps something within you is asking to be noticed.
You may be feeling tired, disconnected or uncertain about who you are becoming. You may have come through an experience that changed you, or perhaps you simply know that the life you have been living no longer fits in quite the same way.
You do not need to arrive here with everything understood.
My work is not about telling you who to become. It is about creating a space where you can listen more closely to yourself—where what has become faint, buried or forgotten can begin to be felt again.
Your ember may need rest. It may need protection, expression or encouragement. It may be ready to grow into something stronger.
Whatever stage you are in, you do not need to force the process.
Sometimes transformation begins simply by recognising that the light is still there.
