My Story…

My connection with the spiritual world began early, shaped by my ancestors and by the people and cultures I grew up around. While studying for my BA Honours degree, I became fascinated by the place of ceremony, ritual and symbolism across cultures—an interest that continues to influence my art, interests & travels.

In my mid-twenties, a profound spiritual experience changed the direction of my life. I returned to education, Health & Social Care and went on to work in mental health, addiction recovery and crisis support, including managing services and helping develop therapeutic programmes.

Alongside this work, I studied holistic therapies, became a Reiki Master Teacher, and continued my spiritual development into shamanism. I also found a way to express what I sensed through spiritual art, which has taken my work around the world.

Community has always mattered to me. In 2015, I founded SoulTribe Events to bring people together around natural therapies and spirituality. Today, through Ember Within, I offer a more intimate space for healing, learning and ceremonial gatherings.

If something here speaks to you, I’d be glad to hear from you. Every journey begins somewhere.

My Shamanic Lineage

My shamanic studies initially began with Core and Celtic Shamanism and traditional Seiðr practices. My path later led me into the Peruvian Q’ero tradition, where I was initiated as a Ñusta P’aqo (Shaman). I walk the path of the shaman-healer-priestess with reverence for the people and living wisdom of this lineage.

I was introduced to the foundations of the Quechuan tradition via Green Tara College and Majella Fagan of Don Juan Nuñez del Prado’s Wasaw Wacho, and Dr Owen Roberts of Don Sebastian Apaza’s Kiko Wacho, and Q’ero elders Don Ricardo and Don Francisco Apaza Flores of Kolpa Kuchu.

That training was to initiate a six-year journey of learning and practice in these traditions. During that time, I received the Kawak Rites, Pachamama Allyumasi initiation and Mosoq Karpay initiation from Don Ricardo and Don Francisco. The Mosoq Karpay marked my initiation as a P’aqo in the Q’ero tradition.

In Peru, I also had the privilege of learning directly from Don Juan Nuñez del Prado and Ivan Nuñez del Prado. My training continued with Don Alejandro Apaza Machaca, who initiated me into the Chumpi and Ñusta lineages and taught me Coca Leaf Divination and advanced healing practices.
